Another bite in the... rain

Chess despite everything!
Another rainy autumn day is behind...
The weather has changed so dramatically since my last post that I can't help the somehow typical autumn melancholia to invade my mood.
All this time since Olympiad I've been trapped in the "normal life" of a "normal person". You know, when you have to do so many little things, you're busy all day long and then you get in bed at the end of the day asking yourself if you really did anything significant. Frankly, though I know this kind of weeks are necessary, I feel like my life passes by, so you can imagine how happy I am they're over!
I am finally getting back to my favorite lifestyle- the one of a chess player!
Many tournaments are ahead! First, an Open in Cap d'Agde, France, where I've already been for 2 times, one of them which I really enjoyed (the one not involving someone stealing all my money on my day 1 of being in France and losing 20 Elo points afterwards).
Favorite activity in rainy days!
An Open in Novi Sad will follow, one which will take place in the same period with the European Club Cup. I've been several times in Serbia and it was great every time so I am looking forward to this tournament!
The Romanian Club Championship will be next and the Romanian Blitz & Rapid Championships afterwards and maybe even some more tournaments will appear in my calendar as well... I am fully packed up for the last months of this year and I'm really excited about it!

I hope you're all well and I wish you a full or maybe a calm autumn- however you prefer it!

And the rain came

After a few sunny days in London, the rainy days are back, bringing clouds not only on the sky but also in my tournament situation.
I am on a disappointing "-1" after 7 games, and with only 3 more rounds to go.The tournament did go definetely not as planned. Well, but what to do? The life goes on and I guess that it's not the last tournament when such unfortunate "moves" happen...
I still have a few more days in London and I hope to take the best out of them.
The positive thing is that I passed all the partial exams for my University so far, one more to go the day after tomorrow- the last one.

Wish you all a sunny weekend- if not outdoors- at least in your hearts!

London!

And here I am- in London!
It is amazing to be here- it feels like I'm in center of the World ;) London has been very nice to me so far- already for 2 days here and no rain at all :))) - lucky me :P
The tournament is organized on a very high level and there is nothing to complain about (well, except my yesterday's blunders). I hope to have something better to write about regarding my chess next days. Until then- here are some photos from my today's walk to the Hammersmith Bridge:

Rain.Wind.Cold

Autumn has come very unexpectedly this year- from the more or less sunny Turkey to the very rainy and windy Moldova.
It is the kind of weather when one doesn't want to do anything but staying under a blanket with a cup of hot tea in one hand and with an interesting book in the other one. Actually- I like this weather and it goes very well with the way I feel now, so I can't complain too much :)
I enjoyed a very nice cup of tea and some more cups of talking with my sister today :P
It feels so good to have nothing to worry about.
I will just enjoy these two weeks of being home
and I will try to recharge my batteries for the upcoming tournaments- European Club Cup (20-27.10.2013) and European Team Championship in November.

I lost unfortunately. I had very good chances- receiving a nice position after the opening, but I got too optimistic afterwards and sacrificied a pawn- which didn't lead to anything good. You can see my game here:

Here are some photos I took today, during my morning walk through the rainy Legnica:

Grigoryan Avetik and Danielian Elina of Armenia also taking a walk

"Welcome to the Hotel California/ Such a lovely place..." Well, it's actually "Kamieniczka"- but lovely anyways :P
I play against a lower rated player today, again from Czech Republic- Pavlicek Miroslav (2014). I hope to have a good game and to win :)

Will keep you posted!
