Fifty Shades

February has just started and I can't wait for it to pass quicker and no, it's not because I can't wait for the "Fifty Shades of Grey" premier, let me pretend it's just 'cause I can't wait for the next tournament :P
Though, if talking about this "shades" thing, I think that life is about the moments when you get colors and not just simple shades, a shade of a friend, a shade of love, a shade of freedom, a shade of success, a shade of happiness... Our problem is that we see only shades when we could go for a bright color. People are afraid of living a life full of colors, they prefer a cocktail of shades. How to have a full time job living the color of happiness when there are worries that it may not last? That's how we lose it, we lose our fresh green and we get the shady one.
On the other hand, I'd prefer to get a shade of black instead of a black blast...
I wish to live a life which would paint me in all the colors of  the rainbow and I see my job as trying to make myself a high quality paint material, as about providing fine paintbrushes- it's the job of the ones who surround us, so make sure they won't go cheap on you!

The Freedom Currency

In a place where nothing is certain and the most of my deeds are based on instinct rather than on rationing it gets really strange to be around people who know for sure what they are going to do in the next 5 years. It gets even stranger when they tell you the place you'll be by that time. I don't even know where I'm going to be tomorrow...
I dream of unconditioned freedom, of meeting my destiny with nothing
but a rucksack on my back, a smile on my face and the wind carrying me on.
They used to fight for freedom and to sacrifice their lives so their children could have a chance to know what liberty is. Their fight was won, but I still feel an invisible chain. As long as you're a part of society, you'll never be free, because there are always people whose opinion is more important than what you feel.
There are people who pretend to be free, they wear the mask of "not carrying" but even they are being fooled because they are not free enough to be able to relinquish their freedom when the moment comes.
I think that life is about the moments when you crave for liberty and you're too afraid to claim it and about the ones when it's a price you're gladly willing to pay, but they don't accept this currency.
Just give me a call when freedom has reveled itself to you...

Freedom

     FREEDOM, FREEdom
What is it- an undertaken right or an unconscious burden?
Many say that the most important thing for a human being to have is freedom. I think that freedom is nothing if not knowing what to do with it. Who cares that you're free to have an opinion if you don't ever say which is it; who cares that you're free to choose your company if you hang out with people whom you hate but you need them for some reason; who cares that you're free to love if you never do it. Who cares???
We pretend that we're free-we are people who can do whatever we want in the limits of the law. What kind of law am I talking about? Every other man has his own extra 300 laws.
Freedom is such a burden to some people... "If only I didn't have to choose- it would be so much easier". No one made you choose anything- we're not living in socialism anymore- you choose whether you're mojo's bitch or not. Easy.
One never values freedom until he loses it. Actually, it's good to be able to lose your freedom- it means that you had it at some point.
